Scott’s 17 years of experience in the tech industry, along with an exceptional understanding of the entrepreneurial environment, will certainly complement CSurgeries mission to become the most trusted online publication of accurate peer-reviewed surgical videos. His strong interest in healthcare, passion for medical education and improving healthcare systems internationally will help take CSurgeries to the next level.
Scott believes CSurgeries is an incredibly valuable tool for surgeons, and his strategic approach will ensure more surgeons become aware of our online community that promotes education and the sharing of knowledge.

From August 2005 to 2015, Scott Shellabarger was Vice President of IT and equity partner of NovaSys Health. While at NovaSys, he built up the IT department and drove the claims payment automation to over 90%- allowing NovaSys to grow without major staffing requirements. Centene Corp. acquired NovaSys Health in 2010. Scott stayed on at Centene and led the implementation of all systems needed for the Affordable Care Act rollout in 12 states. He also led the deployment and support of Centene’s first Big Data NoSQL solution MongoDB.
